A bit of a rarity. Jerry and Donna's vocals together (yes, giving donna props) are so tender. Boys nail the country style tune. For some reason, I dig

Jerry destroys this version. Turns on the hose and never let's up. Complete shredfest

Shreddy, heady goodness. Jerry gives this one a solid dabble

The Other One
Nov. 17, 1971
Albuquerque Civic Auditorium

Oooooh, I liked this one a lot. Travels all over the place. The opening bread of the TOO sandy is nice and bluesy, popping MAMU meat, and a delicate TOO landing bread = tasty sandy. Solid Wharf to follow
Viola Lee Blues

School Gymnasium, S.U.N.Y.

Very cool for the giddy kitty banter about the lyrics at the start, swanking blues, then solid ramp up, finalized with a quality segue into CB. Def worth a spinner
Wharf Rat

Coliseum Arena

Jerry's destroyed voice works quite well, given the tone and intent of the song. I find the Branford sit in/contribution to be a bit dentist room AM radio, but the boys are pretty on for the jam
Big River

Charlotte Coliseum

Keith comes through in the cobra clutch, as Jerry dances on the leads. Choice
Caution
Nov. 8, 1969
Fillmore West

Honestly, i find this one a bit aimless, meandering ,and a tad underwhelming. Lesh has several beast moments that kill and the Main Ten portion is perfect, but the Caution sections are a bit too loose and flailing. The show in total is near perfect, though, and certainly worth the lauding in the Dead cannon
