St. Stephen
Dec. 20, 1969
Fillmore Auditorium

Very solid St Stephen that bleeds effortlessly into a raucous Eleven

The Eleven
Dec. 20, 1969
Fillmore Auditorium

Hits a nice mellow calypso jam, then shoots into a flurry of energy to reach a massive peak! Loving the new Dave's Picks release

Dark Star
Nov. 19, 1972
Hofheinz Pavilion

Lesh takes the reigns about half way through and from then on, this one is pure magic. Very uplifting jam to close, then buttery segue into WRS

Looks Like Rain
Sept. 24, 1976
William and Mary College Hall

Leads to a pretty nice peak. Good Donna contributions (there, I said it)

Short, sweet, free flowing glory

The Other One
April 15, 1970
Winterland Arena

Oh my GOD, the jam out of Drums on this! Very Santana-esque jam, as Coralsand articulated. Primal 70's hyper-speed muscle. Very choice
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Oct. 27, 1973
Indianapolis State Fair Coliseum

Very interesting to transition into this out of PITB. Love the curveball. Fine version taboot
Playin' In The Band
Oct. 27, 1973
Indianapolis State Fair Coliseum

Hits a very nice, melodic peak and the unusual meat material in the sandwich is undeniably tasty
Help On The Way > Slipknot > Franklin's Tower
April 1, 1984
Marin County Veterans Auditorium

Agree in total with HVD. Sick slipknot and the Franklin's is a very bouncy piece of fun. Great version of the suite - nice choice for 30 days of dead
Truckin'
Oct. 2, 1972
Springfield Civic Center

Agree, the Truckin' is fine, but the real magic comes with the NFBM > Drums > Feelin' Groovy Jam. The keys/drum/bass jam after the Drums is super interesting, then Lesh pulls them into an utterly sick Groovy jam. Great, great sequence
