Tight, bright version. A great yin to the Stranger yang opener

Blistering, full band energy. Crunchy Brent, fiery Jerry soloing - Bobby notes pre-song, this is the "drummer's choice" - Version cranks

Absolutely glistening solo from Jerry and tasteful tonal fills from Brent. Choice

New Potato Caboose

Shrine Auditorium

Holy f*ck!! Phil hits an absolute moonshot with this. Completely takes over and guides the band into a purely blissful jam
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl
Aug. 24, 1968
Shrine Auditorium

I love the pacing in this. No rush, band is patient and offering turns for each other to shine. Always been a top version, personally. Dusted off again today and still a sweet moseying bluesy dander. Love it
Brown Eyed Women

William and Mary College Hall

Definitely worth listening to for the rhythmic oddity. I can't tell whether it was purposeful or just out of sync (I felt like the former, but not certain?). Worth it for something different, if nothing else
Playin' In The Band

William and Mary College Hall

Very choice. I felt like this cracked my head open, then patiently melded it back together on a concerted listen.
Morning Dew

William and Mary College Hall

Absolutely cracks with energy. The ramp up is a powerhouse. So strange, almost a year gap until this version, then not played again until Nov '79. They made this one count at least!
