Jack Straw
April 22, 1979
Spartan Stadium - San Jose State University

Brent's 1st song with the band. Multiple Lesh bombs, rollicking drums, smoking Jerry licks, and impassioned vocals. Fine welcome to the band!

Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
Oct. 16, 1981
Melkweg

This is a lightening fast bowl of nose clams, played 100x the speed of hyperspace. Worth it just to hear how fast the boys ventured to take this on

The Wheel

Melkweg

Not the longest, by any stretch, but incredibly airy and beautiful for Bobby's B-day. Worth a listen for sure

Feelin' Groovy Jam
Oct. 2, 1972
Springfield Civic Center

Super interesting jam out of a surprising Truckin' > NFBM jam > Drums > Feeling Groovy jam. The first few min of keys/drum/bass after drums is $$$$

Fox Theatre

Seriously high octane. A very subtle St Stephen lick by Jerry in the closing jam

Autzen Stadium - University of Oregon

Tough that Bobby has technical issues during this Straw, but he leaves the boys to tear this version a new one. Jerry shreds this to pieces! Very, very nice.

Autzen Stadium - University of Oregon

This is very patient, poignant, and soulful. Jerry's vocals and playing are hauntingly on point. Very nice
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
July 7, 1989
JFK Stadium

Spun this one several times this weekend. Jerry's leads at the end of Scarlet are just incredible. He repeats a lick toward the end that sounds so vibrant, like a bell ringing. Coupled with a sick FOTM, this one has all-time status

The Other One

The jam after the MAMU is crispy goodness. This one delivers
