Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
Oct. 14, 1983
Hartford Civic Center

Finally scooped this on vinyl and my god, this second set holds up perfectly. Over an hour of top tier playing and perfect setlist choices. It starts with this all-timer Scarlet > Fire, which has literally everything you could want from this famed jam vehicle. Precise Scarlet with fluid dreamy transition, absolutely scorching Fire solos - this version is transcends.
Scarlet Begonias
March 23, 1974
Cow Palace

First ever and surprisingly good, with a different type of sound. They don't hesitate to let it breath a bit after the verses, with some communicative playing (relatively speaking in duration - I think it tops out at ~7 min, but not bad at all for the first time played)

Good Bobby chaw on vocals, Jerry swirls in beautiful leads to close. Choice

Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium

As with all others of this time period, this doesn't have the '89-'90, Jerry shred your face completely off and you are left shattered and in awe-type jamming at the end, but this one has great energy and a tight punch of a peak to close.
Jack Straw
Nov. 5, 1977
Community War Memorial Auditorium

This one really cooks along with some serious energy. High quality Straw
