Feel Like A Stranger
Oct. 3, 1981
Rainbow Theater

Silky silky goodness. Brent makes this version. He owns a nice little groove right at the end. Pretty solid version

Nassau Coliseum

Heart wrenching and gorgeous. Rivals my favorite from Dead Set, but just a step below. Incredibly beautiful though, spilling with emotion

Eyes Of The World
Nov. 17, 1973
Pauley Pavilion - University of California

Easily overlooked because of the magical Playin'>UJB>Dew>UJB>Playin' earlier in the set - this version still shines brightly all on it's own

New Haven Coliseum

Really nice, bouncy Supplication. Show is a stunner top to bottom taboot

I'll double comment till the lights go out... Regardless of era or any other markers or metrics, this one thrills like few, if any, others. The peaks are glorious glimpses of the beyond, the valleys are soulful renderings of agony - this version is the absolute purpose of this song.
Jack Straw
July 9, 1989
Giants Stadium

Throwing HAYMAKERS. Bobby bringing chaw on vocals, Jerry is red hot on leads, Lesh and devils killing the low end, Brent with passionate fills. This one is FIRE. Bobby screaming the refrain = goosebumps
Black Peter
March 13, 1982
Reno Centennial Coliseum

Oh man, this one is passionate. Very soulful licks from Jerry
The Music Never Stopped
June 28, 1985
Hershey Park Stadium

Brent goes NUTS in this. Chunky playing, combining with Jerry's triumphant leads, and Bobby's powerful rhythmic chords
