Parc des Expositions

Agree, peppy as shit and Bobby brings the "chaw" required for superlative versions of BTW. Crispy version
Sugar Magnolia

Palace Theatre

Celebratory victory lap after a sick set. Very hot Mags
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Sept. 24, 1972
Palace Theatre

Agree with Grendel, the segue out of Dark Star is completely flawless and totally filthy, then they SLAY the couplet of China > Rider. This DS > China > Rider > Sugar Mags section holds up to nearly anything on one of my favorite tours the boys played. Super energetic coupling here
Dark Star
Sept. 24, 1972
Palace Theatre

Sweet fuck, this is GREAT. Been a while since i heard it, and the SBD majesty of the new release is undeniable. The boys hit so many sweet spots in this. Epic, multi-sectional journey that blends effortlessly into a sick China > Rider. Needs more dap
Uncle John's Band
Sept. 18, 1974
Parc des Expositions

This is precisely how you start a show! The boys dig their heels in early with a beautiful, melodic, and spacey jam. Love this show
