Rainbow Theater

Silky silky goodness. Brent makes this version. He owns a nice little groove right at the end. Pretty solid version

Heart wrenching and gorgeous. Rivals my favorite from Dead Set, but just a step below. Incredibly beautiful though, spilling with emotion

Eyes Of The World

Pauley Pavilion - University of California

Easily overlooked because of the magical Playin'>UJB>Dew>UJB>Playin' earlier in the set - this version still shines brightly all on it's own

Smokestack Lightnin'
July 15, 1989
Deer Creek Music Center

Big, boisterous blues jam in this. Excellent landing pad for a smokin' version of Truckin' and the boys jam nicely on the number before drums > space. Check it
Truckin'

Deer Creek Music Center

I've been in a huge 89'-90' dead era cycle lately (particularly for Garcia's proclivity for Hendrixian shredding sorcery) and this Truckin' > Smokestack is so filthy, that I immediately respun. The Truckin' itself hits a tizzy of a windup and Bobby effortlessly segues them into a bar room brawl version of Smokestack. Highly recommend'd

Comment on variety of jams is spot on. They tie together nicely at several points, with several distinct themes
