Ship of Fools
May 21, 1974
Edmundson Pavilion
Jerry's voice is crisp, his playing is sharp, and Keith does a great job with atmospheric organ fills

Rip snortin' version!

Doin' That Rag
Feb. 11, 1969
Fillmore East
An extra handful of stank on the end jam puts this well above a "normal" version. Definitely worth checking out

The Other One
Feb. 11, 1969
Fillmore East
Not the longest version (due to time restraints), but this one starts like it is shot out of a fucking cannon

A short, incredibly dense, and interesting piece of space

Good Lovin'
May 3, 1972
Olympia Theater
This one hits the "get up and GO!" button early, then following the initial swell, the band and pig connect on some really interesting improv, instrumentation illustrating the rap.
Bertha
May 3, 1972
Olympia Theater
Cannot say enough about how pumped I am for this RSD release. Show is all-timer and sounds so buttery on vinyl. This Bertha fires out of the gates with tight, passionate playing. For Euro '72, I prefer the HYH version slightly better, but that's likely more for familiarity and nostalgia purposes (I wore that OUT when released). All a matter of preference between these two for best of tour, IMO
Brown Eyed Women
Dec. 31, 1971
Winterland Arena
Wholly agree with previous comments - real jumpy version, though the energy and direction is synched and hammers home nicely.
Loser

Such solid touches, wonderful early version
