Row Jimmy
June 21, 1976
Tower Theater
Intense and electrifying, highlighted perhaps by Jerry’s vocal performance. Another amazing June ’76 Row Jimmy.

I Need A Miracle

Fox Theatre
Hot early version with a well-developed Jerry-led outro jam. Check out the amazing Joann Walker recording.

Space

Unusual, long Space for the era. Fans of Feedback will enjoy this one.

Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Oct. 16, 1989
Meadowlands Arena
I upvoted because what’s here is so well done. The Rio Grande-o singing is missed, but in its place is some really fresh, emphatic playing and a creative segue into Stranger. But yes, check out 7/12 for an equally great and more complete ’89 Half-Step.

Agreed. This has that wonderful kaleidoscopic sound typical of the era. A wholly satisfying performance of a tune in the core repertoire that could’ve ended up on Without a Net.
U.S. Blues (Wave That Flag)
March 20, 1992
Copps Coliseum
Not bad overall. Jerry's not doing anything terribly interesting, so I can't upvote, but this is a great example of Bruce doing everything he can to ratchet up the excitement -- the sort of stuff that would have spurred Jerry on a year or even a few months earlier.

I’m a sucker for unusual keyboard sounds and patches, and here Brent/Bralove dials up a vibraphone that sounds way cool. While I was understandably distracted by that feature, the rest of the performance seemed good as well.
Playin' In The Band
July 19, 1994
Deer Creek Music Center
While it does not start out promisingly, this PITB quickly pushes into a feedback-laced meltdown, and certainly not a tossed-off one. If you like that sort of thing (and I do!), you'll want to hear this version.
