Estimated Prophet
March 29, 1983
Warfield Theater

Hot outro resolves into a brief contemplative space before yielding to Drums.

Queen Jane Approximately
March 28, 1990
Nassau Coliseum

Sparkling, energetic version. The first set of the Nassau run is a great one!

Its All Over Now
Oct. 20, 1978
Winterland Arena

Grooves smartly with excellent contributions from each member. The whole first set is hot and worth a listen.

Loser
Oct. 20, 1978
Winterland Arena

Jerry and Donna sound great in this uptempo version. Jerry's solo smokes too, of course.

Black Peter
May 13, 1978
The Spectrum

Sweet bluesy outro jam. Spring ’78 was very good to poor Peter.

Space
Oct. 19, 1974
Winterland Arena

WTF! This sounds like a highly electronic Drums segment from the ’90s. Unlike any other Seastones performed at a Grateful Dead show, as far as I’m aware.
Drums -> Space
July 17, 1989
Alpine Valley Music Theatre

They inhabit space with such total commitment and seem reluctant to leave even after 10 minutes, hence the drawn-out segue into The Wheel.
Wharf Rat
Jan. 10, 1978
Shrine Auditorium

Another ludicrously fine Wharf Rat of the late ’77 – early ’78 vintage. Adds to the flow and power of the ’77s a fearless exploratory edge peculiar to January ’78. Very free and jammy with exemplary contributions from the entire ensemble.
The Other One
Jan. 10, 1978
Shrine Auditorium

Heavy, blistering, hard-rock Dead.
Estimated Prophet
Jan. 10, 1978
Shrine Auditorium

Very exploratory jam that eventually relaxes and dissolves into He’s Gone.
