WTF! This sounds like a highly electronic Drums segment from the ’90s. Unlike any other Seastones performed at a Grateful Dead show, as far as I’m aware.

They inhabit space with such total commitment and seem reluctant to leave even after 10 minutes, hence the drawn-out segue into The Wheel.
