I think 'Box' is one of the very few Dead songs where the studio version surpasses any live version. That said, this version is as good as it ever got live, imho. I love it not despite its imperfections, but because of them. This song live is real and emotive, warts and all.

Energetic Eyes? Yes, it's beyond belief! For years now, I've been scratching my head as to why this version and the one from 10/29 are so low down the list. They're the two best from the year! Please listen and vote, folks!
