One More Saturday Night
June 23, 1990
Autzen Stadium

A good one played on a Saturday night. Kicks into gear in the second half. Brent's organ is stellar, and Jerry's midi textures add flavor to the mix

Not Fade Away
Sept. 21, 1982
Madison Square Garden

Fiery, with loads of Brent organ and a tight jam. Everyone's totally locked into the groove.

Me and My Uncle
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

Big energy, a good Jerry solo, no lyrical flubs, and transitions into a hot Mexicali Blues. What else could you ask for?

Dupree's Diamond Blues
Sept. 20, 1982
Madison Square Garden

Is there a single version of Dupree's that DOESN'T put a smile on your face? This one's a ton of fun, and a big highlight of an under-appreciated show

Candyman
Sept. 20, 1982
Madison Square Garden

Brent's piano is a major factor in this hot version. Tempo is just exactly perfect.

China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider
Oct. 11, 1983
Madison Square Garden

Phil's doing some really creative stuff with this one. Odd and offbeat, but REALLY cool.
Black Muddy River
April 2, 1990
The Omni

Bobby's guitar sounds excellent complementing Jerry's solo. I really think it's the reason why this one is so powerful, and it's a reminder of the chemistry they both had.
It's All Over Now Baby Blue
Sept. 11, 1982
West Palm Beach Auditorium

Gorgeous one. Jerry sounds amazing. A great encore and a fitting end to a good show.
Jack Straw
Jan. 22, 1978
McArthur Court, U of Oregon

Perfect in every way. This one is a fireball of energy, and easily my favorite. It's not even close.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
March 10, 1981
Madison Square Garden

A little ramshackle, but VERY creative and has tons of goodness in the transition jam and Fire.
