I agree, there really should be a limit of the number of versions of one song one person can list. No more than 5, I'd say.

I know what gettinmyslice is getting at and I agree: If people submit so many different versions, it dilutes the point of this website which, in my mind, is to narrow down the massive number of versions of a song to the very top versions. If there were a limit to the number of versions one person could submit, (I'd say no more than 5 versions of a given song per person) we'd have a tighter and shorter list of all time versions instead of a very long list that includes the top versions and many ones that might be notable for some reason but really aren't contenders for the all time killer heady version. There are pros and cons to both approaches, of course, but I'd prefer limits for the reasons I stated
