This is a real nice version of Baby Blue to close this '84 show. Super yummy Dylan cover.

"Come to Daddy on an inside straight!" Jerry belts it out nicely on this one. Good version!

I'm listening to this one in headphones right now & it's super cool. Dead were ahead of their time with experimental, ambient, electronica.

Passenger

Seattle Center Coliseum

I don't usually react to strongly to Passenger one way or the other, but this one jams. Cool solo on slide guitar and Phil just murders the bass throughout. Strong version from an underrated show.

Surprisingly good from a show that doesn't get enough credit. Solid show from top to bottom.
New Minglewood Blues
June 24, 1970
Capitol Theatre

Not on most popular archive recording from this day. 2 shows from this day, early and late. This MInglewood is here: https://archive.org/details/gd1970-06-24.124175.cooper.berger.flac16/gd1970-06-24d1t08.flac

Great version! Especially the way it comes so sweetly out of the dissonant ending of this (also great) Dark Star. This is so, so, good. The band was pushing this day, with Allman Bros looking on and ready to join. Listen to the one!
Good Lovin'

May not be Pigpen, but damn this version is nice. Pumped vocals by Bobby & inspired playing by Jerry. Worth a listen. Underrated, in my opinion.
