New Minglewood Blues

Evans Field House, Northern Illinois University

Agreed, Keith is doing something and it's amazing. But the whole band is with him. As always on this song Billy and Mikey are possessed. This whole show is outrageously on fire. This should have more votes. It's hotter and more unique then Cornell.

Eyes Of The World

Boston Music Hall

Again, like I said with Roosevelt 74. Phil is phenomenal. No base player on earth outside maybe some jazz players could sound so perfect, now delicate now thundering. Brilliant. Of course the whole band is on too. Those Boston Music Hall shows are easily top 15 greatest run ever IMO

Just wanted to make a general statment. The thing I like most about this and most Eyes is how amazing Phil Lesh is. To say he has perfect pitch and timing which he's world renoun for is an insane understatement. Eyes shows that Phil is arguably the greatest base player ever. He is absolutely brilliant. No base player ever listened so perfectly to what was being played around him and added the most perfectly balanced and timed notes.

It's definitely a lovely version. A great way to relax after work and float into bed. But I do think the 70's versions are hotter because Jerry does more with his solos. Branford is great and sounded great. But I'll take a 70's Jerry guitar solo over Branford. With that said, sure wish I would have been there. It's a great performance
