You're right Howlin Wide. They went by bonkers on the 1991 JS jams. Structurally, they weren't as good as other years but they really let loose on the Jam. They were so unique that way. Year to year. This and Deer Creek from 91. Pure intensity and power at the end.

I love this song and this one is intense. I love Micky Hart's fills throughout. I was really happy when they played it at Fare Thee Well. Passenger is pure Grateful Dead style rock n roll

It's tough to beat the 1970 accustic versions but this comes close. Makes me look harder at those late 70's ones too. Jerry's guitar just melts you. Phil is right on signaling the changes.
