Just about every other song from this show is on HV, so this should be too. Despite that fact, this show as a whole needs more love - it's excellent.

Perfect - JG nails this.

My favorite part of every Jed is the last long Jerry solo that wraps up the song - this is a really cool one.

Rooster is not necessarily a song I seek out when I look at setlists, but this one stands out. Nice show here.

I have a new respect for TJ lately because of Jerry's long solo at the end. It's always different, and this is a cool one.

Definitely the highlight of this show. LOVE ‘79 Shakedowns.

Ever notice the first few chords of this sound exactly like the beginning of Loser? Sounds like they are about to play it then abruptly veer into BP. Loser tease?

Absolutely wish it was played more. This is one of my fave tunes from this show.

Agree with all of the comments here. This is without a doubt a top shelf version. Flawless.

I haven’t listened to this show in a long time. It’s obviously a very famous show and one of my first bootleg tapes as a youngster, so I put it on the back burner for many years as I explored a lot of different material. Today I revisited this classic, and holy shit. As a big TJ guy, this is right at the top for me. Fantastic Jerry action from start to finish, but the closing solo (my fave part of all Jeds) is fucking smoking. A+. I’m gonna get this Dave’s (Vol. 29) tomorrow.
