This is an incredible, unique, fast-paced version. Bob's singing is superb and Phil's bass playing is lickety-split in the best possible way.

I didn't really like Lost Sailor>Saint ... until I heard this version! Very dramatic playing.

As isles says, "slow, funky, druggy." Just so. Extraordinary version of the song.

It's not that they make time stand still--it's that they transport past time (this is an old song) into the present without sacrificing anything of its original character. Kinda miraculous!

Wow--like so many other songs from this night, this is a perfect balance of all the elements that make the song great.

This is just one example of how this show accomplishes what they were trying to do in May 77 better than any other show. Incredible professionalism without any loss of energy or organic flexibility (Cornell is sometimes a bit stiff, no?)
