This is an incredible, unique, fast-paced version. Bob's singing is superb and Phil's bass playing is lickety-split in the best possible way.

Incredibly high-octane version from a great show!

Turn On Your Love Light

A nuclear shuffle? Blazing throughout. And the transition showcases half the band leaning into NFA, with the other half pushing for GDTRFB--which finally wins out is also played superbly.

I still think 2/28/69 is the best ferocious (pre-hiatus?) version--but this amazing version is the post-hiatus version that never was: slower and more dignified (until the very fiery final 5 minutes), although Jerry would never have this kind of guitar tone post-1970.
Death Don't Have No Mercy

Well, this version certainly has no mercy! As others have noted, Jerry's singing is the most heartfelt I've heard on DDHNM--and his piercing, stinging guitar work is just devastating.

Maybe it's just how upfront Jerry is on the (great) AUD recording, but this is a relatively fierce version, not so "delicate." Listen to his biting guitar strumming and soloing. "Outboard Motor" Jimmy?
Playin' In The Band

What everyone above says ( a truly great performance)--and Donna's return scream is perhaps her most controlled/musical effort ever?
