Truly a remarkable performance. After the "silent" part (a pregnant silence if I've ever heard one!) the band (in the words of "Archtop" over at the Grateful Thread) offers a 10 minute recapitulation of the history of music! Simple rhythm, simple melody, added layers of complexity, counterpoint... No other performance so ably demonstrates that *everything* is in a good Dark Star!
