This is an incredible, unique, fast-paced version. Bob's singing is superb and Phil's bass playing is lickety-split in the best possible way.

Incredibly high-octane version from a great show!

Is this the only version where Bob sings throughout, no yelling? It's certainly fabulously sung--and some very hot Brent organ to boot. Great version.

Bonus track on Road Trips 2.2. Great Pig performance--and perhaps Jerry's most blistering guitar playing from 1968!

What a wonderful version! Just a tick slower, allowing Phil to play what sounds like electric tub-bass. And Billy finds a perfect groove.

A truly great version, with tempo midway between the leisurely 1973 versions and the frantic (IMHO) later 80s versions. As everyone has observed, Phil is the star of the show, both on this song and throughout the entire show. And his bass solo is the least interesting thing he does! His contributions to every song are elegant and powerful by turns, transforming everything to a higher plane. Has he had a better night's work?
