Maybe better than a typical 78 Samson? Comes barrelling out of a great Dancing, and Jerry is all fire on the frets, making up for his laryngitis.

Keith kills it here. Jerry has some gorgeous moments throughout, both vocally (as usual) and instrumentally.

Crazy that this has no votes. This whole second set is so under the radar. No big Truckin, Hes Gone, The Other One or Dark Star jam sequence that you would think of for 74. Just a bunch of totally nailed songs. The Brokedown before this demonstrates that and Keith especially is on fire throughout this second set, however this NFA goes to Jerry. Not sure what it was, but clearly he was feeling a vibe from the bluesy jam out of US Blues, and he picks it up here big time. As mercury noted, it has a 77/78 vibe for sure. Maybe thats the conversational quality of the jamming?

So good! This show and frankly this whole early January 78 run is much overlooked. You can almost see (and definitely hear) the Jerry going nuts on guitar because he is unable to sing.

Mark me down as another “i concur”. This is a wild and rockin’ NFA if ive ever heard one. Realizing that they were doing a MLB gave me all over goosebumps.

I’d argue this is certainly a highlight. Haven’t gotten through the whole show yet, but so far it’s been a barn burner… even my usual “skips” like Good Lovin and Cassidy grabbed me by the balls with the energy haha
