Subject: Tough Call
Subject: Tough Call
It's a tough call as to which version is a better recording, four very different and good recordings. I think I like this one better than the Doug Mow
...
version for that live feeling. There is something dismally soundboard-ish with Mow's version, all three at heavy on the Jerry which I can't complain about. I can't figure out why people like the next night better? Happy shopping!!

Hard to rate this one fairly because of the events surrounding it. Caught up w/ some college buddies during set break. Chomped a hit of blotter just as
...
the 2nd set started. Enjoyed the Space Jam more than one should. I recall asking my friends if they could "feel the wind". Must have been the blotter talking. Started peaking when the lights came on after the encore which could have been "Jessie's Girl" for all I knew at the time. Lost my friends and, hence, ride at some point in the shuffle. Spent the rest of the night wandering the streets of Worcester in an acid haze and wound up sleeping on a heating grate outside of some bank lobby. So was this a good show? I may not be the best judge.

Subject: Hot show often overshadowed by following night
This was a hot show in its own right and we all thought they would roll out a St Stephen like they did at the Garden a few nights prior (they didnt) this
...
is the first time they played the Centrum for what would be many more smokin shows and a staple of any touring dead heads diet.
This was a beautiful cool NE fall Th night with the leaves turning and everyone pumped to be there.... hot bertha>greatest. Tenn Jed+outrageous LL rain>deal..
Set II was hot hot help>slip sampson>eyes?? This was unusual for what had become pretty formulaic shows. Great spanish jam and very solid other one stella all the way through...
While the following night was just so incredibly over the top, this was a great night as well with some really sweet music.

Was at this show, nothing but pleasant memories. Jerry goes bananas during Help On The Way, playing at blazing speeds. The Eyes has a different introduction.
...
Stella Blue into the Other One was nice, and the Good Lovin' to end the show was a blast. Thank you.
