Don't sleep on the Tenn Jed. Stay for set II. For the Mix. Awareness. Balance. Pace.

You can borrow from a friend..
The Dead have been focused on a narrow group of tunes in the rotation for the start of touring 1976.
Yet they have been really been mixing up the set lists.
Example tonight we find Lazy Lightning mid -2nd set.
Tunes like FOTD, Let it Grow-- used in both sets as well
The end result is we are getting some really nice versions of old standards, reworked classics and new tunes.
Great sound, vocals are particularly sweet!

FRANKLIN
The drums, are immense, and mind blowing, really clean sounding. The snare pattern is really complex. I am a huge fan of this song, and the intro ten seconds in has me hooked. Look up all of Charlie Miller's Shows!!

Carbon Copy
Yet another great night of music. Just like the Boston show, the mix here is perfect with Keith well up in the mix instead of buried as he often is. Great vocals, good playing and amazing sound quality.
The song list is exciting and there are very few glitches in the performances. A nearly perfect show. If I had never heard May of '77, I would have given this one 5-Stars. But, like the Boston Music Hall show before it, VERY solid 4-Stars.
