Overhyped mediocrity emblematic of Orlando in the 1990’s
My first and only live Dead show, so it’s my baseline. Wondered for years after why they had such a devoted fan base until I heard Europe ‘72 It wasn’t

terrible though, some highlights: - black kid on a skateboard in the parking lot huffing a nitrous balloon just before the cops emptied the tank - bunk red acid purchased from the shirtless kid with the “kind back rubs” sign - cooling off in the chlorine-laden waters of the Bobb Carr fountain - gay dogs - free hugs from the head in tie-die who obviously found better acid than I did - passing a joint at an indoor concert venue— this used to be a thing, kids - crowd chanting not fade away for like 20 min (it seemed that long at the time) - police didn’t shoot tear gas grenades at the crowd this time - Bruce Hornsby’s piano wasn’t bad

Ont, before this...This show just rocked me I was at the other two nights, and while great..this one was target for me. Great recording here too. Bruce with the squeeze box....mauhh...didn't hurt. Out doors before the show, the front lawn was like a wonderful circus, colors everywhere, great frisbee, cool just chillin, drums and jams...Fun day all around. One of my fav shows.

Such Disappointment
I just had a blast the whole time, even if the music sucked. I had never seen so many vendors lined up and down the street at a show. The second day all

of these cops came with horesemounted officers, DEA helicopters, and undercover agents. Yes, the shows were weak, some poor deadhead drowned in the nearby lake and they closed with another Throwin'>NotFade. Plus, I was not going to sit through another Brokedown encore. Sound familiar? What a waste of time for the band and the fans. Mickey Mouse and Space Mountain got better reviews at this run. This was a first for me in terms of not remembering a string of shows. I must've had a really good time. Thank You Archive.org

Three Star show
This is one of those nights that the band just wasn't all that ON. Although it's definetley listenable, the beginning of the show is plagued by sound issues

that hold the band back for almost the whole first set. And it seems that they just never really were able to fire on all cylinders. It was, after all the last night of the Spring tour, and I think they booked one night too many. Overall, a 3 star show in my opinion. The 19+ minute Foolish into space is pretty nice though. Post space is actually very well played in comparison to the first set and the first half of set 2, although very typical in terms of song choice for the era, and a little lacking in typical '91 energy. 3+ overall.
After reading the previous review I was sort of glad I had sold my ticket after attending the previous two nights...I remember the music being good but

not overly impressing or inspiring(the first two nights). I was sort of predisposed though...I was dumped by a serious girlfriend three days before these shows...she had been cheatin' on me and I knew the guy...the worst was we mail ordered our tickets together and she didn't really expect me to want to go when she dropped the bomb...I took my tix anyways...was bummed the whole time. Funny thing is she came running back to me about 6 months later...it was never the same...I really did love her for a while...and I'm grateful to have had the experience with her but something just burned out when she decided to cheat on me...we had a couple of reunions and last I spoke to her I was married and she was crying about it...what can a poor boy do? Oh well...speaking of this show...this run was my first run after Brent passed...I never really enjoyed the music after Atlanta 1990...seems like something left the Dead's music when Brent died...I dunno...I'm not gonna knock Vince...it's just that Brent seemed to glue everything together or something. Heck...maybe I just changed...I still love the dead...God Bless the Grateful Dead!

Disappointing...
This was a letdown of a show for me. I was maybe expecting too much, but it was basically a summation of the whole tour instead of a distinct performance.

Bobby was doin' his Jr. Sound Detective act during Hell in a Bucket...opening drawers lookin' for stuff in his rack...leavin' stage and walkin' back out with a roadie...tweakin' knobs...HEY BOB, THERE'S A SHOW GOIN' ON...HOW 'BOUT GETTIN' INVOLVED? Unfortunately, the rest of the band seemed as interested in being there as he was...
