I wish Charlie Miller would do his magic on this show. I just discovered it and it’s beautiful in the very underrated year of 1980. One of the best Ship

The eyes of the world is one of those tightly packed endless jumperinos that made even the local vendors of the braizzure hotdogs fall in love with all

those twirling dirtyhaired west coast stinkys out in the hallways. By the end there is no crowd noise, only sweat and mesmerized everybody. I love '80 and '81 for these intricate speedy excursions.

I haven't seen this show on many lists but it's well worth acquiring. The pre-drums second set in particular is played extremely well. Not sure why Brown-Eyed

is missing. The recording has excellent clarity, but is lacking a bit in presence, a little distant. I have some cassettes made by a different taper, including Brown-Eyed, and with quite a bit more presence. If anyone would like to help convert these to disc and get them into circulation please e-mail me at craigeyler@yahoo.com. I'll give this show four stars for performance and three stars for sound quality.
