and about 6 of us rushed in. Cool small venue on a beautiful spring day amid the pine trees of Durham. Jerry stage right for a change. Some flubs but has it's moments. Good tour opener of a pretty nice tour.

from the floor. The Sugaree is one of the best, almost as good as Lake Acid '83. The China/Know you rider transition is one of the best ever. Monster energy. This is the set of soundboards that have been circulating for about 10 years. Thanks for the ride to Norfolk Wind Dancer !!!!
Lots of sweet Jerry tunes here, candyman, IMOBTR,Sugaree etc...Bobby was good Never much a rooster fan, they we overplaying it then, Phil steady and subsonic

as ever. , It was a cozy gymnasium atmosphere with tons of local and tour heads outside enjoyimg the fine NC Spring. Mickey was seen at window and the review earlier is true, alot of "miracle tickets" happen that night. I remember how laid back the scene was. Above average first set and decent second set I had an excellent Aud until this SBD.Once again THANKS for the awesome versions of Dead shows on this site!

sitar music wafting on the spring breeze from a tent full of india cotton breast feeding longhairs. Wandered through camp, absorbed the wondrous scene, scored tix, met the sphinx, filed into Cameron at dusk. Had that "aha!" moment early on (Sugaree?) when the waves hit just right, and I was hooked. Thanx much for loading this here, and God bless!

the old switcharoo
Worth noting that Jerry and Phil switched sides starting with this show, putting Jerry next to Brent where he would remain thereafter.
