"Tuning '77" - a seamless audio supercut of an entire year of the Grateful Dead tuning their instruments, live on stage. Chronologically sequenced, this remix incorporates every publicly available recording from 1977, examining the divide between audience expectation and performance anxiety.

What?...really micheal?
Your kidding when you suggest that the Dead tuning up is not relative to the Dead Archive. So funny.

Great work. Maybe you could produce your own "plunderphonics" release in the Grayfolded vein.

Very nice, but right venue?
Michael,
This is really very cool. Kudos for creativity!
I am a bit reluctant, however, that this may not be the right medium for this work since it's conceptually a compilation which doesn't really fit into the theme of this Grateful Dead subsection of the archive. I'm sure there may be a more appropriate venue elsewhere.
Best of luck in all future work.

The coolness of this concept alone is worth 5 stars. There is a certain aesthetic that what's in the cracks in the art is even more important than the art itself. The spaces between actually have an energy all their own, separate from that in which they are between.
Now, will I ever find the time to listen to it? Different question...
