Days Between...check it out. Really strong, Bobby is all distorted and Vince has a China Doll-esque harpsichord tone going on. Quite nice. Standout of

I was off the bus by this tour, but it has fresh setlist w/ a few new tunes.
favs are Same Thing, Smokestack and Cassidy. Solid show, but only a decent ... audience recording. Leave out Childhood's End....sorry Phil.

Subject: got into college the next day
I was a senior in H.S. in Philly during the Fall '94 tour. We'd gone to all three Spectrum shows and scored tickets to this one at MSG. Knowing my parents
...
would not approve a school-night adventure to NYC for a Dead show, I merely left them a note on the table saying "Going to NY to see the Dead. Will sleep at Steve's and go to school from his house tomorrow." Well, I did make it to school and when I got home, I received my acceptance letter to Pitt! A big thanks to Admissions Office folks at Pitt for their hard work in sending that letter out quickly because once my paretns knew that I was into college they let me off the hook for the whole MSG escapade! As far as the show goes, pretty good for '94. I was there with Steve, Kushy, and Dirty Cohen. We were all medicated, and had a great time. I remember the He's gone and Iko. But in the end, who cares anyway? It's Jerry, it's live and we were there! Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year to all, and let us hope that love will not forsake the days that lie between.

turns out no,
you see my g.f. and i
took some cheap blotter
like 5 mins. befor we
walked in and we were
trippin'by the time we
got to our seats and ... man
was it overkill.
a lot stronger than the
price led us to beleive.
man when they hit those
2 explosive first notes
of help on the way it
felt like the floor was
gonna crack open.nothing
sounded right that night
(and i don't mean that very
noticable fuck up at the end
of franklin's that everybody
tells me,"it wasn't a fuck up
man...it was a false ending"!!)
in fact the iko was strange,
not bad but weird.
it was fast and it seemed like
they were singing it a
diffrent way than usual and
at the time i thought it was
the doses we ate but when i
finally got the show i realized
they are kinda singing it
diffrent and it is pretty
fast.however space dosen't
sound the way i remember that
night,but by space i was
a quivering pile ooze sitting
next to my g.f.
this show deffinately has
some cool high points.
