Flaws:
- Introduction D1t1 has a pop(small).
- Static/Balloon? D1t04 for a half a sec.(not bad).
- Slight clipping in left channel during Drums d2t05 when the sound got so loud it pushed the master DAT over. It does not sound distorted but you can see the clips when viewing the wav file.

Subject: Dont call anyone a fool for not liking
a phoned in show with no passion and Jerry being seriously hindered by health issues and a major drug problem. It is not all good as this show proves.

I love the grateful dead I just do not unconditionally give every show 5 stars. If this were NKOTB than yes this would be a 5 star performance for them but tho is the Grateful Dead and this is just a lousy show, and yes i was there, and relistened to the tapes. The first set is OK but the second is among the worst of all-time. 2 Stars only because of a passable set 1. PS announcer is not just some loser local DJ but Pierre Robert an honest to goodness true Dead Head. Be careful criticizing people you do not know. Pierre is a sweetheart and a true fan of the band.

anywhere else but in the spectrum right then. But i must say the band LOVED PHILLY. that is all the times they played here before vince welnick joined the band, they loved us at the tower theatre,the civic center,J.F.K. with bob dylan,the electric factory with pigpen, as well as brent mydland and keith and donna but after brent passed all of the energy went with him,the majority of the shows after brent were sooo tired and boring.listen to the way jerry played are you telling me he was not bored?

the rafters.
While the show was a well played one as almost all Philly Spectrum shows were, I waited all night for them to break out something special rather than the run of the mill set list that they wound up playing. The JBG encore was a real let down too.
However, I won't let my disappointment from that night hinder the fact that this is still a great show and it gets the 4 stars it deserves.
Thanks to everyone involved in this site for allowing me to relive a lot of forgotten great memories.

could make it to show then ur lucky to have experienced the magic .Whether it was 60's 70's 80's or the 90's we were their guests.I strong support Jerry through out his entire carreer.If you knock the Dead here you are a fool and not worthy of the listen.

wailing on the I geuss it doent matter anyway. Great recording really captures to moment. Close your eyes ; it will take you back....
