Kind brother dude, you say you were at the show and that Vince's solo in FOTD is terrible - all the years combine and melt into a drizzle. That is Hornsby's

playing. I know...it's tired and old hat to hate on Vince and God Bless him Im sorry he was so tortured but have a listen to his solo during FOD and tell me it's not just utter dogshit. I remember at the time really working to conVInce myself that it was all gonna work out with him, but fuck me. It's so bad at times that I cant imagine for the life of me why the band kept him.

and transfer are perfect. There exist few flaws in the production or playing. All songs are performed with precision. This is an amazing show. Unbelievable! Right from the first note of Picasso they cook diabolically through an entire evening's concourse so phattening that with the advent of Black Peter our spiritual cholesterol levels went instantly up on the good side and lower on the bad. It's like therapy, or something, but not lipitor or oatmeal. Nope, not this night. It's all steak and potatoes Dead. Nobody pays much attention to songs like Picasso or Peter. I don't know why. Both great songs and on this night both well-played. Peter is so chilling and crisp like a Reisling upon your palate...that it...stops you in your tracks. Nobody pays much attention to jems like this, but, this folks, is a jem.

Overshadowed by nights 1 and 4, this gig is very well played and I really enjoy the song selection. Solid first set and love the Eyes>est>terrapin.
