Congrats, you ruined an otherwise pristine recording. You're the guy that walks into the elevator & farts. Instead of ducking your head you raise
...
you hand and claim it while forcing others to smell your flatulence. Were I come from, thats shameless & ungrateful.

Hey Skippy Handleman,
What's wrong with Rush & the Dead together? I happen to love both, for similar and different reasons. Neil Peart [Rush drummer] ... and Mickey Hart are personal friends and I know for a fact that Peart was at this very show (and that Mickey was at the Rush show at the Omni the following night).
so perhaps you should bring that cattle-prod with you? maybe run a full bath first then have at it.

I was every Omni show from 89 till the end of time. Jerry's gone, the Omni is gone , but the music lives on. The most memerable thing i ever saw there
...
was a group of folks drumming on a street lamp pole outside the venue. The sound was almost as amazing as the Space segment show itself.
This brings back memories i thought were gone forever, and the crowd noise makes it even more reliveable. Bruce Hornsby would have made such a great permanent addition to the band after the tragic loss of Brent, however some of Hornsby is better than none. Seeing Bruce alone is worth the price of admision, but to get all that for a buck?.What a bargain!
The Omni was a turd of a venue from a live sound perspective. This recording captures what only the Grateful Dead could accomplish there, ............Pulling a rabbit from their hats, and something outa nothing, with something to spare as change.
The tapers section there was nearly the sweet spot of that place, but the undiscoved jewel of the Omni was the seating behind the stage. Too bad no one was ever taping there in the fattie section......That spot made the other activities of the main arena, camping and vending areas(while they we're allowed there) aroroud the Omni look like church outings while the preacher was lookin;)
Thanks for the memories!OH !OH! OH!
Can i have my haki-saks back Phil?

Lots of crowd noise, but I don't think it takes away from the show, it lets you feel the energy!! Worth a listen.
