those K.C. girls... They throw in a little jam twist at the end of Circumstance for what was already a good set. Sound issues during early Second Set But
...
In middle of Samson the yummy good sound hits. And really the Scarlet>.Fire is just blazing. If you are looking for a tight S>F with great sound. This is it !!! No jam out of Fire just straight into drums. Weir ---pretty animated after Drumz,,, Going off the cuff during Trucking and talking about needing some medicine in a good way during Good lovin' Not much extended exploration but the music is tight. Beware the splices...

Scarlet
Jerry hits the pedal rite after the last line of Scarlet. Yes at some point going into Fire he hits it but I think this might be one of earliest I have

heard him do that. Is rather nice. This is one of those shows that fly's under the radar because there are so many other smoking shows in 1980 late summer tour. Is also one that takes getting use to listening to. 1st Wheel in sometime and 1st for Brent. at some point someone could make a good matrix out of this one. Its a 3.5 stars show but I wont give it 3 because I hope others listen to it.

and such, which may tighten the overall sound. With two track, once recorded, what you get is what you get... And I work with Betty Cantor-Jackson "Betty-boards" and it was her magical ears mixing live for tape that makes so many of the "official" releases sooooo good! Cheers!

So the thing about sound boards is this - it was the mix that made that room sound good. that's why you buy the official releases, even if you already

have the show, because those guys have the equipment to remaster the tapes to balance the mix to a neutral state.
Is it me, or is Phil completely missing? (edit) Nevermind. I hear him in Friend of the Devil.
