Decent show
A nice listen, not the best or worst, Recording os nice and clean. Not sure why so many talk about DSO when reviewing the grateful dead show. How DSO
...
played has 0 to do with the above recording by a different group of musicians. Comment about how DSO did on a DSO recording of the show. For the record I LOVE DSO they just have nothing to do with a review of how the grateful dead played and how the particular recording you are reviewing sounds.

Worth it for the baby blue
Great baby blue from ol Jer. Just skip the Watchtower... embarrassment of a version unfortunately. Good passion but the signing is horrific.

DSO
The Darkstar Orchestra performed this show in Falls Church VA on June 10 and it was absoutly amazing... They are very good at what they do...

The Wheel Good Time
Second Set wails. It's all good. Some small quirks with recording. Not pristine, but rockin'! The Wheel is the piece de resistance because all of it is
...
in the leading up to it as Black Peter. An even, simplistic and understated tone throughout it assuages the pangs of darkness like a cool breeze on a sweaty brow. Doesn't deserve a 5 in either recording or performance, but the unforgettable moments extant make the music prevail. It's just a wheel good time.

Little sneeker
Looks like most folks just shot past this one. As the New Years show was choppy and edgy, this show is silky smooth all the way, with generous amounts

of 5 star playing throughout. One of the better pick-ups I've heard in a few months quality of playing wise. Sound is superb.

Another underated show
I've seen this show dismissed as a "warmup" show. Although weaker than the next two nights (and somewhat better than the New Year's Eve show), it is a

solid show and well-played. My only complaint might be that the Scarlet>Fire seems rushed, but this is typical for 1991. The sound and mix is pretty good too. For that reason, I'm going to give this show 4 stars.
