Did anyone else think of Sunrise, Sunset for a brief moment in the jam out of Terrapin? The post-Drums was as high energy as the rest of the show, which was not always the case in the 90's (or really at any time).

Wow
The band was clearly into it. This was just about the maximum jam show of the era, and there was very high energy. Looking at the setlist, they could have

easily gone into drums from Truckin', but they not only added Terrapin, but they extended the jam at the end of it. They also could have gone into a closer out of Wharf Rat, but added TS/NFA. And the NFA is not one of those throwaway versions that were all too common in the later years.

Coasters would laugh after the trampled over you.). We had partaken of a psychedelic sandwich . By the third song things were starting to feel strong. The "I must appear really high to others paranoia" had set in. So I took the band's advice, "if you get confused just listen to the music play." On Little Red Roaster, Jerry plays it with a slide bar. As I was dancing he would do these weird little tweaks to the end of his slides. Every time he did it my body would jerk in an odd direction. I began to get the thought Jerry was not only staring at me, but getting of on making my body jerk around with his playing.. I must be Higher than I think, and just went with it. At the end of the song, my buddy turns to me and says, "Dude, Jerry was staring right at you the whole song,. and playing you. playing you like a fiddle. ".

Post Brent era Throwing Stones>NFA was usually a "same old, same old" way to end a show. This one has some juice. Especially the NFA. And for '91,
...
the Truckin'>Terrapin>jam into Drumz was pretty energetic as well. At the end of the day, a solid show--especially for '91.

for sacramento. But this day was very special. I personally had a great spot on the floor and was with a warm group of poeple. The place was awesome. The help slip says it all. The one at Shoreline a few days later was just as hot. The interesting song in this bunch suprisingly is Picao Moon. It shreds!!! I know its odd but it really does. Super then and super now 5 stars!!

Another great show from a satisfying run at Cal Expo. The Help on the Way isn't as good as the other versions with Hornsby (6/14/91 may be the best),

but this one is makes a respectable way to start off the show. The pre-drums in the second set is the jewel of this show, and the band seemed reluctant to leave the stage. I remember when I was at the show trying to use telepathy to tell the band to keep playing "don't end with Truckin, play one more". I guess it worked. The transition from Truckin to Terrapin is unique with hints of a Spanish-sounding jam. The jam out of Terrapin is also Stellar.
