I am listening to every 1994 show in order, mining for gold.
Jerry puts the Here Comes Sunshine lyrics up against a wall and executes them!
Set 1 Highlights ... : Lazy River Road, Loser (WOW). At the end of Don't Ease Me In, a taper calls this Cal Expo run as "possibly the last one."
Set 2 Highlights: Brokedown Palace? Second set is pretty bad. Some parts of the Wharf Rat solo are cool.
Well, the night before this one is definitely the winner. On to Seattle for the next run. See you at the show.

was super fun. This was my only split Sugar Mag, which was a treat. Don't know if it comes through on this recording but Phil was thunderous on The Other One coming out of space.

midday heat. I fell in love with the woman sitting next to me, and during El Paso, she took me by the hand and led me through the swirling and swaying crowd to the beer tent. What a moment! I have felt differently about that song ever since.

even though i wasn;t actually at this show. I do have a very fond memory of listening to it while tripping balls driving to my hotel room with my freinds
...
after an other ones show at star lake in PA. The drumz/space is absolutely bone chilling and I vividly remember everyone in the car just being completely silent while it's playing, half because of the liquid acid we had taken and half because we couldn;t say anything cause we were to scared because of the space.

As I listen to this show, I remember the Cal Expo Show I was at a couple years earlier. They opened with a sarchastic COLD RAIN. It was 95* for that,

my first CA show. I saw many more. I can see Jerry up on the wide open stage, just jammin' away. I'm from Wisconsin. Cal Expo reminded me of a local county fair grounds where stock cars race. I had a blast! The sound was great as is this.
