Users have designated the following versions as heady!
91
Comes A Time
nice long jam after verse, goes on and on like no other
21
Sugaree
Not the best recording, but good enough, and the performance pays off big time
32
Eyes Of The World
A great version from '76.
9
Not Fade Away
Smoldering hot and long jam capping a great 2nd set. The kind of jam you want to go on forever.
26
The Other One
Wow truly a heady Other one->Eyes of the World (very meaty)->The other one, 1976 has some truly amazing sequences this is one.
15
Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad
This set is an emotional roller coaster, and this Goin' Down the Road is a sweet way to continue it. Keith shines, as he does all show.
25
Pretty Peggy O
Reggae feel to this one on the beat keeping. Sweet harmonics and everyone is on point as well.
2
Cosmic Charlie
Vocally on point, a nice mellow Charlie
18
Mississippi Halfstep Uptown Toodeloo
Has that great 76 chill feel to it. Different than 77, but has its own beauty with great Garcia work.
9
Promised Land
Loved when Promised Land opens the show. This one does not disappoint.
8
Samson and Delilah
Lacks the familiar opening but Jerry's guitar playing is on fire, with a great contribution from Keith as well. Well worth a listen
6
Space
Calm, clean, clear and expansive: this is what space sounds like to me.
6
One More Saturday Night
Really like this version, slower than most but Jerry makes every note count
11
Big River
Perfect version, lots of Keith, slow but doesn't drag
5
Mama Tried
It's got everything nice about the '76 sound: Crisp and clean while laid back. Perfect execution.
3
Johnny B. Goode
Keith could play a piano just like ringing a bell. Jeez, but he just slays it here. Show this to your kid learning the keyboard, damn.
6
Deal
Deserves mention.
3
New Minglewood Blues
I can't believe nobody has submitted this yet. Sublime version, so damn smooth! Hell of a show
