I seen only one other person address this? I know very well where I was. To be sure, I double checked with my best friend at the time and she agrees. She was with me along with many others that I'm not so much in touch with anymore as I was only 19 at the time.
The set list was good and considering the year and the decline the band was experiencing this show still rocked! I was not tripping. I had some wonderful edibles and they put me in the exact space to enjoy the show. I remember plenty of dancing, a couple of great covers and a decent all around show. "The Weight" was an encore. Great way to end the show and send everyone along in a pensive mood. I remember particularly enjoying "Minglewood Blues", "Fire on the Mountain", "Scarlet Begonias", "All Along the Watchtower" and "One More Saturday Night" (surprisingly energetic).
I'm still so confused why this is listed as Compton Terrace! I know I was at Desert Sky Pavilion. Cardboard Zippy alluded to this in the comments/reviews years ago. If anyone else remembers the location well I'd really like to understand the why I'm so certain this was in a different place.

is full and rich to the point that it sounds FOB to me. Nuclear Bobby at the beginning of Fire. Jerry sounds great although not quite the fountain of ideas during Fire that he was in earlier days. Brings back great memories of a sunny afternoon well spent on the Compton Terrace hillside. 5 stars for sound 3.5 for playing.

After the disappoint of the cancelled Veneta '92 run due to Jerry's illness, we saw Jerry looking fantastic at Halloween, so we drove from Los Angeles

to Tempe for this two night "comeback" run. This outdoor venue predates the modern sheds and featured a fairly flat lawn. Crowd was in a good mood-Jerry was BACK after all.
Bobby's guitar is especially prevalent in the mix on both of these nights, and though 12/6 may be a tad better, this isn't bad Grateful Dead. Jerry's engaged, and the soloing in the Scarlet>Fire is quite clean and bubbly.
The post drums Wheel>Watchtower is strong and the Weight encore sweetly delivered. Nothing monumental, but certainly pleasant.

Sound Guys got things crankin'. The whole band sounded real fresh after the hiatus with a lot of cookin' energy. Scarlet/Fire was awesome. I also recall getting out of the muddy parking lot after the show, heading over to Garcia's Mexican Restaurant for dinner and the long walk into the show the next day, keeping a watchful eye out for Phoenix Police looking to enforce Arizona's tight drug laws (Had to toss a doobie to avoid getting busted.) I thought the sound was excellent on this recording; a lot of audience chatter between songs, but that made me feel like I was there again.

Who sent me here with her regards for everyone"
