Touch of Grey
One of the best
11
Samson and Delilah
Great Drum Intro out of Touch of Grey into an energetic Samson!
9
Uncle John's Band
out of space and into Morning Dew
15
Morning Dew
Brilliantly executed. Superb playing on this one, perfectly paced and absolutely nailed.
10
Tennessee Jed
Appalachian country-funk never sounded so sweet in the 80s.
11
Estimated Prophet
Very tight version. Jerry nails the noodles richly, making for a far out excursion. Only issue is a seemingly rushed Eyes segue
21
The Music Never Stopped
The East Coast charge after coma Jer and the boys had shit to prove
11
Alabama Getaway
My favorite version from one of the best Dead shows I've ever heard. Jerry's on fire and the drummers are dynamite. Best one I've heard.
13
West L.A. Fadeaway
Monster version that takes an already great show into 'epic' territory. Jerry sings and plays like a professional criminal here.
9
Little Red Rooster
Brent completely dominates this "Rooster."
9
Eyes Of The World
Jerry's solos are as meticulously crafted as a spider web. Fluid, soulful, energetic. Great mid-80s' "Eyes."
5
Johnny B. Goode
Ok, one more from this show.
5
Greatest Story Ever Told
Barges in like a battering ram out of the best ever "Alabama Getaway" and just rips from end to end.
10
Brown Eyed Women
Briskly paced but totally tight and emotionally present from start to finish. Jerry's on fire this whole show (best of 1987).
5
Beat it on Down The Line
The amazing first set continues.
6
Cumberland Blues
Worth a listen.
5
Drums -> Space
Starts fast out of eyes and eventually goes to a fun section with rhythmic teases to different songs. The space jam is also really nice
