Frat Boys Suck
I was down on the floor about 1/2 way to the board on the middle aisle and these 2 frat boy ushers were just lambasting the show, the band and thecrowd as loudly and as rudely as they could. Typical small dicked reaction to which they know nothing about, until after Morning Dew. Granted, not the greatest, but it left them slack jawed stunned and, finally, quiet. 2nd DS for me, the first being at RFK in 90. Jerry was showing the effects of smack and it was just a matter of time.

awesome show
this is a sick show, i love hornsbys playing with the dead. also this version is better than the other one on here imo. the other one has lower volume levels and this one sounds a little crispier. another sick show with hornsby is 12/30/90

Way above average for era
IMO there are definitely some gems from winter/spring '92. This is one of them. 6/20 @ RFK is another. 6/20: one of the most scintillating drum/space ever, especially now that we know where it was headed

What ever happened to his precious self control
The Cassidy, Deal raised the roof to end the first set.
My friend & I headed to the upper side stage for the second set and it was a killer! Songs that I would never imagine leading to a Dark Star did that night and it all worked!

In search of the Dark Star
For the Spring '92 tour this show is notable for the 2nd of 7 Corinna's to be played and the Dark Star and Satisfaction. For me the last transformative Dark may have been the encore at the greeks in july of 84 butit is always fun to hear those signature chords played. And the Drums/Space/Jam is pretty cool. The Morning Dew here is pretty good if more peppy than soulful. I think you might have had to have been there to appreciate the satisfaction.

Sound Quality: A
This show is an excellent clean board feed. Vocals are crisp and there is great separation on the instruments. Row Jimmy and AM Dew are a little shaky, but still pretty darn soulful. If you think 92 was crap, give this one a chance, I think you'll be surprised. Although the 2nd set leaves a little to be desired in terms of the setlist, it is played well.
Shenandoah theme during space is awful purdy! And then Vinnie has to get in the way with Bach's "Jesu, Joy....". WRONG SONG VINCE!!
P.
S.-This was Bruce's last tour as an official member of the Dead, and he and Jerry had lots of great interplay. Bruce really energized Jerry throughout this whole tour.

My Birthday, too!
Not only was this my first birthday show in the 100+ shows I had seen over the years, but it was in my hometown as well. It was a pretty good show to boot.

quality recording
my 30th show, I don't like corrina at all, but to the guy that hated dark star and morning dew...maybe you're not quite a fan, the dead usually only played dark star when they all felt good. I'd give almost anything to see jerry play a fishing pole right now.
sound quality is excellent, no hiss.

Darkeyes, I tried to find a way to contact you, but didn't...4/19/82 is the show with Raven Space. This show...much nicer looking than it is.

3rd show 1st Darkstar
Wish I would have gotten on the bus sooner. Great recording; good sound quality; yeah!! for Bruce. I don't care for Corrina whenever they play it. When they started playing Dark Star I remember my friend going nuts; I was like, "what's the name of this song?" I have since listened to alot of Dead; as much as I could get my hands on. I'm looking for a Halloween show when during space the band is quoting Edgar Allen Poe's THE RAVEN and someone is asking for more Nitrous; IF you have it please look me up; I would love to have a copy of that show again. kdhouser@

best sums it up. nothing overwhelming, but nothing like what we saw in 94/95 off nights. If you're looking to beef up 92's I guess this works. For those looking at that satisfaction, be warned it's pretty bad.

from what i have listened to so far, this show is pretty solid. The Me and my uncle->Big River is sick, with the big river sounding like a throwback to the ones they did in the late 70's, rockin version. funky deal too. sound quality is pretty much perfect.

an absolutely fantastic show in all facets..the band is incredibly tight, jerry & the keyboards are playing off of each other like a finely tuned piano...vocals,are very good, honky tonk piano and midi is fantastic, and again, jerry just plays the hell out of every song in the set..as far asI'm concerned, the absolute best of 1992........

Solid Show. Top 5 of 1992
When Jerry left during Corinna we all were a little stunned. His return brought smiles and relief as did what followed. Great setlist. Solid throughout. Deal absolutely smokes.

short but sweet
definitely an interesting show for '92. all in all, this was a rough year for me. expectations after '90 and '91 were high, and i found some shows to be quite disappointing. at the time, house lights being up during victim disturbed me, but they soon dropped. interesting predrums set list. the corinna is definitely a keeper with sad, shenandoah-like strains out of jerry's guitar before he mysteriously wandered off stage. bruce teased the heck out of dark star (definitely not unusual for bruce) and i kept my fingers crossed. when jerry came back out, i was so psyched i didn't mind the fact that it was a short dark star. it was definitely a pretty dark star, and richer in texture than the one in hamilton a couple of weeks later. phil sounds phat in this mix as he did in the crap center that night. the shenandoah space is haunting, clearly a tired AND thoughtful garcia. though the morning dew stumbles a bit during the first jam transition, it is still glorious: the first time dark star and dew appeared in the same set since october of '74 according to john scott. the satisfaction encore was the icing on an ecclecticly tasty cake. even though the cap center scene had gotten sorta lame and overrun by this point, my crew and i left satiated. downloaders will too (crisp sound). this is a late night disk.
