The left channel of this recording is wraught with muffling and distortion, making it unlistenable if you are planning on rocking with headphones. I'm

sure it's passable for a speaker setup, but I couldn't get through one song on the iPod without skipping it. I haven't tried the other sbd source yet, but I hope it's better than this.
I had a tape of this long ago; this is a stellar show, and the performance itself is highly recommended. Try the other sources first, though.

a big bonus! Got my ticket for the New Yrs. show in front of the BART terminal near the venue, was a show I'll never forget. Met Bill Graham, got in quite early, a night that I'll never forget. Was truly a show for the ages...

This show is a goody. The terrapin is raging. THe video is worth getting. Speaking of videos, how is the sbd show on here as there is a commercial release.
...
Even though it's not the sbd from the video...well it's not a video at least.

One of my favorites I bet that of all the shows I've got, this one gets the most listening time, probably some sentimental value there...watched it on

Pay Per View way back when and had video tape of the whole thing..one of my favorite first sets. Second set
started off fine but seemed to kind of slope off a bit. Always bugged me that the official release video cut Promised Land out. A hot Little Red Rooster, a smoking "Push" a sweet Birdsong and a real nice "Music" made it a real nice first set. Hell/UJB/Terrapin were wonderfully played.
I give it 5 stars
