I love any late 73 show the horn section is just one of my favorite things about this run the quality of the recording is fucked but I agree anything in 73 ill take it. I wasn't there but I wish I was it sounds like nothing ill ever hear in person.

I Was There
Dude. I was there, and I am drunk right now, so I am too incompetent to write a review. I can't even type hardly. But I was there.

What do you expect??
If you can get past the god awful first few songs(sound quality) this show is very impressive for an aud recording i would have to give it a 5 for that i mean aud recordings are just what they are not that great i would take a sdb any day but i am impressed. great nobodys fault. other than that middle of the road show what happened to all the downloads? is a few million not enough for those old bastards?? now have to charge for more i guess (digital dead in itunes), all about the music, what a hoax they r laughin all the way to the bank jerry would roll over in his grave but i still enjoy the music

Lucky find, poor quality
Well, Nuggets was right, this is unfortunately a very poor sounding recording of a good show.
I have a recording off my local radio station of an Eyes with horns that got cut because my tape ran out. I've always wanted to hear the end of that Eyes because it was really good.
Well, I search
archive.org for "Grateful Dead horns" and here I am. This is the Eyes I wanted to find. Too bad the sound quality of this show isn't up to par, but I'm glad I finally know which show this is from and thanks to Candyman for letting me know who was playing horns.
There are other much-better sounding recordings and just-as-good shows around. Thanks, archive.

Dont do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I honestly do not know what the other reviewers were listening to when they wrote there reviews but the sound quality is awful. Not recommended! From what I listened to the songs are executed well but the quality is so bad I had to shut it off. Hardcore Heads only.

Dead at Civic Arena, 1973
Besides the Roosevelt Stadium show in 1972 and
Capitol Theatre in 1971, this ranks as no. 3
on the East Coast for the early 70's! The release
of Wake of the Flood was only a few months old and hearing those songs live really made me
appreciate them.

A gem from '73
This is one of the best shows I have heard from '73. The sound quality is really good and you can hear everyone doing their part in this tight show. The end of the second set is on a platform of greatness with the first Nobody's Fault since '66 > Eyes > WRS > Let it Grow...with Mart'n Fierro and Joe Ellis on horns as they were most of the end of '73. Definately check out this show in any format...they all sound good.
