5
New Minglewood Blues
Thunderous! Everybody on point. Fierce weir vocals, crunchy lesh, Jerry rippin', kieth and the drum boyz pounding away
20
Playin' In The Band
Starts out floating and drifing, but picks up a serious head of stream before the transition...
12
Loser
Possibly the most underrated version of all time with an absolute MONSTER jam by Jerry. Must listen!
4
Jack Straw
Jerry is on fire
5
Friend of the Devil
Jerry plays with extrodinary feeling, especially in 2nd half where energy builds nicely with the whole band feelin it!
5
El Paso
I'm usually not the biggest fan of the "disco-fied" cowboy songs, but this one delivers the goods. Of course it's from Texas.
16
Brokedown Palace
Stunning rendition from Texas in the Fall of '77. Gorgeous harmonies from Donna. Mystic transition into a Playing reprise.
19
Wharf Rat
Both Jerry solos are absolutely transcendental. Probably my new favorite version of the year.
3
The Wheel
Reminiscent of another favorite version, 5/19/77. I love when Wheel comes out of Drums, adds an extra dimension. The whole Playing> sequence is sweet.
7
Bertha
You Gotta be KIDDING ME!! I came here to vote for this totally awesome Bertha and it's not even listed yet? This Bertha Made Peace in the Middle East!
4
The Music Never Stopped
Hangs with the pack/ carries its own torch
2
Tennessee Jed
laid back 1977 tight absolutely shocked hasn't been mentioned
4
Candyman
Nice second set '77 one here
2
Around and Around
Good set 2 closer
2
Me and My Uncle
MAMU in Texas !
