I think many over looked this show during the summer of 82. We had so many night after night great shows it was easy to be just another show. Now years

later I listen and realize how much fun this show was. I loved this tour young and free.Not a care in the world back then.
The sound on this one is very nice and the sonds are top notch also. What I would I give to relive this summer tour again.
5 stars because they were on night after night,except maybe the Zoo but still on fire.

In reading Phil's book, I think he identifies this as one of the shows Bobby met his 16 year old future wife.

wheel and comes together in a solidly spectacular (is it possible to be both at the same time?)fashion on this night in Minnesota. No need to highlight as the entire show is worth your time and disk space...give a listen and enjoy!

i went through several versions of this show on cassette over the years. all cassettes cut the jam before drums. too bad, because it's a nice jam. luckily,
...
it's all available here. while it isn't epic, it helps sustain the energy of the previous four songs, and set up what's going to happen after drums. space, and the transition from drums into space, has long been one of my favorite early '80s mix up jams. this space would have been a serious experience. spooky winds with spanish inflections and jerry's outerspace themes swirl and bend this around to be a truckin-other-truckin-other-truckin-other-truckin tug o' war. truckin wins, obviously, but there are hints of that early '70s melding of the two staples. mmm-mmm good.

there. Great vocal inflections from Jerry on Candyman, such a powerful version. As noted, the Scarlet>Fire is top notch. The Lost sailor>saint combo is one of my favorite songs, and this is a fine version. At the end bobby relays a message that someone needs to get to first aide. Hope everyone was alright, even if we are 20 years removed! Great quality recording--mess with your levels to bring the band (especially Phil) up and the crowd down a little, and it's like you're there.
