the terrapin
I remember watching Jerry, guitar in hand, facing down Bobby and Phil during Terrapin.Isaid to myself 'He won't let them go' We could feel where
Jerry wanted to take it.Every pull up to the refrain we chorused in ecstasy.
gotv 2010 had a similar feel especially with the flyer.

Very good show
Unfortunately the crowd noise gets really intrusive at times especially during the Terrapin which is a very good one. The sound also seems a bit biased towards the left channel. 5 stars for the show and 3 for the sound, I'll give it a 4.
Hard to believe that just a few short months before Jerry was fighting for his life. This show is better than anything they did in '86 for sure. BTW the Good Lovin' and Black Muddy River are both incredible, BMR is stunning.

Ultimate Terrapin
This is it. A Terrapin for the ages. Sex should be this good. Not to mention, Jack Straw vs. Godzilla was the best opener ever.

Love the Matrix Sound
This sounds great...love the matrix. Sounds throaty and gets you pumped listening to the crowd as they witness this Terrapin. Best ever? Who knows...doubtful (2/28/81 comes to mind), but who cares. It is awesome!

yes, best Terrapin
Listen to the way Bobby and Jerry take turns on lead, each trying to out rock the other.

do the stars go to 11?
11 out of 5 stars for the Terrapin. Best version of any single song I ever saw live, I think. A legit contender for best Terrapin ever - certainly I've never heard better.
I'll stream it tomorrow but I'm sure it's the sbd. I know that it the sbd recording of this show was considered less than ideal so the comments people are posting make sense.

SBD? AUD? Does it really matter? Listen to the friggin' music....
And yes, 5 stars for the Terrapin alone.

This is a SBD!!!
This was one of their first tours doing a matrix, and it is heavy AUD mixed in, but it came directly from the Vault and I can confirm it is a (Matrix) SBD...cm

compared to all the other 1987 boards this does sound like an audience copy.

SBD?
To my ears, this sounds more like an AUD than a SBD -- the crowd noise is pretty loud. Fun to hear nonetheless.
