Train rippin' down the hot coals of the 1973 track.

Drums
April 12, 1978
Cameron Indoor Stadium

Can't believe I'm submitting this. Long and fun drum circle that's notable because our Jer Bear whips out a steel pan and joins in.

Wembley Arena

Jerry tearing the standards book asunder with this elegant poetic brilliance

Big River
Oct. 31, 1990
Wembley Arena

For a few minutes wembley in '90 becomes the fillmore in the summer of 1970, the way the Dead just slide into a no-nonsense Big River. Shivers

Loose Lucy
Oct. 31, 1990
Wembley Arena

Smokin' and refined version of this deep cut, on "All Hallow's Eve" as a chap might say

Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 20, 1984
Philadelphia Civic Center

Totemically rowdy maypole marathon for the philly regulars!!!!! Seeing stars, wow!!
Wharf Rat
June 19, 1994
Autzen Stadium, U. of Oregon

generous set 2 that shows an invigorated show as well as bouldering hearthrob weir accompanying performance, lush backing and jer just feeling it on the vocals. Hardcore nightcap, perfectly soothing yet mournful
The Other One
June 19, 1994
Autzen Stadium, U. of Oregon

ANOTHER horrifying version from the year, a la 10/13!!!!! Source provided shows an innocent head, bereft of good material from summer tour weeping tears of glorious relief at this superb TO1!!!!!! Explosively anthemic and modal, gives way to furious channels of aggressive searching, reaches tremendously cerebral peaks, devils pounding the tubs with battering ram grace and mammoth seas of tone
Drums -> Space
June 19, 1994
Autzen Stadium, U. of Oregon

these combine for 33 soul crushing minutes, kits are mid, whatevs, This version will make you feel like you are going insane, sporadically random flutters of dissonance and robot malfunctions, blissfully nonsensical and truly psychotic. everyone hammering away at something that feels like playing laser tag in limbo between low and high art, by this i mean thousands of people who are stoned out of their minds and wanting more luscious scarlet fire getting them to consider the harmony and aesthetics of experimental classical and jazz. the lavish decadence of the technology they used habitually during this segment gives way to a truly cavernous and extraterrestrial journey. I mean it's already bending into itself to translucent films of waterfalls, sheer energy currents before we're 6 mins in. Episode 2 is harmonizer and more synth patch building and wacky effects. Congeals into more pranks, it hurts at first but once you get used to this villanous flow of late dead it pairs nice with an isolated surrounding to get into yerrrrr face via midi bank robbery. Drum pad shenanigans give a whole other level of fucked up to this mushroomed out insane version deeper in, becomes something actually not unlike what the Airplane or CSNY would have thrown out if not for aforementioned robbers
Uncle John's Band
June 19, 1994
Autzen Stadium, U. of Oregon

Resourceful and nourishing churning stream of splendid effervescence for a beggar who has clearly heard, and wants it over and over again, the "lightning bolt" axe reeeeeaaally go at it This is indeed one of those 94/95 uncle johns where you're just like looordd have mercy
