another spicy jambalaya rendering from this configuration. Tight and loose simultaneously with excellently intuitive coasting byway jamming.

Gimme Some Lovin'

barrels in and kicks ass. Definitely some first show of the year magic on this. Revives the blues/soul energy of set 1 to leave us smilin' and dancin

Drums -> Space
Feb. 8, 1986
Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center

Thrilling and ominous. gets totally cranial, still retaining the pitb main ten for the duration. Excellent tonal space.

loose kinetic cannonball energy and more fluid acrobatic bluesy group playing deserve another shout out tonite!

It Must Have Been The Roses
Aug. 13, 1975
Great American Music Hall

Super nice version...got a bit more of a kick to it than the uber-somber 78 versions. This one is always a pleasure to hear, even though it kind of kills the momentum of the Help>slip>frank>Music.
Scarlet Begonias -> Fire On The Mountain
April 23, 1977
Springfield Civic Center

nice coked up scarlet fire. Energy is through the roof.
