You know the crew is feeling spritely and in a cowboy mood when they play this, blessed frequently in '89 with it.

Sweet, sweet, down-home and yokey Jerry.

Pigpen cut revived for the 90's with the group in kind of a slow crawling king snake vibe. Vince knows how to lay down some organ. Top late form.

really really good. awesome sauce. This show is probably underrated proportionally to its historical significance, the comparable events of the day are Englishtown, Egypt, and probably the first runs at places like RFK and Roosevelt for scope.

Really worth listening to this mammoth show that was compared by Owsley Stanley to Woodstock. it was a whirling kaleidoscope of a day also notable for the allmans and band assisted encore jam, and the GD soundcheck improvisation from their 90-minute unofficial set the day before. It's said that "1 in 3 young ppl from new york and boston were there", and it was a mellee of in addition to our guiding acidophilus there was also a deluge of people stoned on booze, Colombian white, uppers and downers. This eyes epically straddles the brink, another excellent early version!
